My financial goal for this year is to reduce my housing loan, substantially. I guess I am not alone, there are many like me out there, who are working just for their home (and a car, maybe) loan. After all, who doesn't want a place to be called home, a nest for the family or a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of a city.
But would you leave it all, and to stay in one of these houses, with a picturesque view right at your doorstep? No tv, no internet, no supermarket, no washing machine, no shopping mall; but all back to basic.
To be honest, I might.
