Perfect Sunday, Except.....

Here I am, sipping a freshly brewed coffee, under the shades.

The sound of wandering seagulls and hypnotic rhythm of the waves. White luminous clouds set against the clear blue sky backdrop. What a picturesque scene. It's only 2 in the afternoon, and the tide is slowly fading away.

For me, this is my kind of Sunday. Stress free, relax and enjoy the perfect day. Who wouldn't if you are staying at this place.

This is Hayman Island, Great Barrier Reef.

But the problem is, the purpose I am on this island, is to work. Crunching the numbers, reviewing the facts and compiling the reports. Work is very difficult here, with so many distractions and to complete everything within a week. Worse, the boss is already pressuring for the result.

So near, yet so far.

What a waste.

What a shame.

Early 815

I won't be in Malaysia for this coming Mid Autumn celebration. Mrs. Banana bought some mooncakes for me and brought forward the celebration 2 weeks early. How thoughtful of her. I will be in Australia for two weeks.

Pandan lotus paste with single york.

Hopefully there's still some left after I'm back from Australia.

Talk about creativity!!!

A colleague forward these pictures to me. At the first instance, I really thought there's a girl inside the washing machine!

Look carefully, it is a poster attached strategically at the side of the washing machine. What a great idea. Enjoy the rest of the pictures.

Remembering 911

Time waits for no one. Especially good times. In a blink of the eye, it has been 2 years. The 2nd anniversary of 911. No, not that 911 incident. I was referring to my wedding anniversary.

Friends asked me why choose 911. I jokingly replied that if I ever forget the anniversary, it will be another disaster! In actual fact, it was just an auspicious day that happened to fall on Sunday 2 years ago.

Honey, thanks for your patience and love. May we continue our journey together for many many years to come. I love you.
