Kota Kinabalu Part 1 - Stay

Our KK trip was booked way back in January this year, when AirAsia had their free ticket promotion. Although the ticket was free, we had to fork out RM260 for taxes and surcharges.

Come August, we were looking for an affordable but decent hotel in KK and we came across Radius International Waterfront. Situated on the 7th floor of the Warisan Square, this hotel was just opened for business in December last year. We paid RM178 nett per night for a sea facing room and its view is perfect for sunset. Btw, breakfast not included.

Queen size bed with modern decor

Every room is equipped with a LCD TV, but the reception was fuzzy.

The check in counter and the small lobby

Not to worry about food or entertainment as the hotel is literally at the Waterfront where as long as you have the $$$, there are lots to choose from.

Portview Seafood Restaurant is across the street.

Get your regular dose of caffeine at Starbucks.
